A Range of Services to Meet Your Needs

As a private tutor and consultant, my goal is to provide the best services possible to you and your child.

In-person Tutoring

Language-based learning disabilities, including dyslexia, operate on a broad spectrum. No matter where your student currently is academically, my on-one-one, in-person Orton-Gillingham tutoring sessions will provide explicit, direct and prescriptive remediation in reading and writing, increasing your student's skill level and confidence across all areas of academia.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged and welcomed to come to all in-person tutoring sessions. We have a welcoming waiting area as well as coffee bar and restroom available to all parents and caregivers as they wait.

Please visit the Fortitude Learning Center page to see more.

Online Tutoring

No matter your location or time-zone, I work with students all across the United States via Zoom in order to deliver high-quality, customized, specialized Orton-Gillingham instruction that is upbeat and lively in order to combat any screen fatigue.

Parent Consulting

In addition to supporting students through Orton-Gillingham tutoring services, I am also available to support parents and caregivers in how to best support their child.

Understandably, navigating your student’s dyslexia or other language-based learning disability diagnosis can be challenging and oftentimes overwhelming.

Having been a special education teacher in the Brookline Public Schools from 2010-2021, and the lead teacher in the middle school language-based program from 2013-2021, I have written and reviewed hundreds of IEPs, and have attended hundreds of IEP meetings, which gives me the specialized expertise needed to help families understand and navigate a language-based learning disability and their child’s corresponding IEP.

Through my experience as an educator and now as a private consultant, my job is to help you understand your child’s diagnosis, including navigating the IEP and/or 504 process.

I am available to review your student’s IEP in order to assist you in advocating for what is best for your child’s learning needs at school. Additionally, I can be available to attend IEP meetings with you in order to further help you advocate in this process.

For a free consult on how I can best help you and your student, please contact me via the form below. I look forward to hearing from you.
